Learn How Mound Presence Can Improve Your Game

Every pitcher should have a certain presence or look about him that adds to his success in the game of baseball.  Actions and a personalized look dictate this presence.  Take a look at some of the pitchers in the Big Leagues such as Andy Pettitte (NYY) and Jonathan Papelbon (BOS) both have their hats pulled down low, and have a menacing look as they stare at the target, as if possessed.  This presence must be found and perfected in each pitcher in order for them to have an edge against their opponent.   In a one-on-one battle between pitcher and hitter, there is no doubt that presence matters; both the presence of the hitter as well as the pitcher.
